Wolves win three matches at Zillah, pin loss on Cle Elum

CONTROL: Kyle Wilkins was in control from start to finish in his match against Zillah's Chris Worford, right. Wilkins won 14-2.

They didn't win many matches, but when the Timberwolf wrestlers did win at Zillah, they won big. Reggie Sargeant pinned his opponent, Augustine Paredes, at 195 pounds and Dean Enstad and Kyle Wilkins each won major decisions as the Wolves fell to the Leopards 51-14.

Sargeant played the takedown and escape routine through the first two rounds, giving him a 6-3 lead over Paredes at the start of round three. Another takedown was turned into back points and a pin by Sargeant with 28 seconds left in the match.

Enstad was the first to score for the Timberwolves, who wrestled the Leopards under a spotlight in the high school gym. Enstad pitched a shut-out with three takedowns and two escapes for...
