Enstad, Wilkins, Cully earn return trip to Mat Classic

Mark Briggs, first time qualifier, four others are alternates

Sometimes wrestling can be a game of inches, or maybe just seconds. The Goldendale Timberwolves claimed four spots in the State tournament this weekend when Mark Briggs, Dean Enstad, Kyle Wilkins and Zach Cully scored top four finishes at the Regional tournament in Zillah. Two other wrestlers, Jakeb Partlow and Reggie Sargeant were seconds away from a couple of wins that might have sent them to State, also. As it is, Partlow and Sargeant will be joined by Tristan Sheppard and Demetrius McCoy as alternates to the tournament.

Enstad and Wilkins each placed second at Regionals, helping give Goldendale sixth place in the tournament. Briggs and Cully placed fourth.
