Adult care work of love for Unger

THE COMFORT OF A SECURE HOME: Gerogia's Adult Home Care includes two, six bedroom homes along South Columbus, in Goldendale. Georgia Unger purchased and refurbished the homes. One is currently occupied, the other scheduled to open in May.

"I've been building things all my life," says Georgia Unger, owner of Georgia's Adult Care Home in Goldendale. Unger was referring to all the buildings she and Pat built over the years from Portland to Bend to Goldendale. But, Unger has undertaken a different kind of building with her latest business. She is building a sense of family for elderly adults who wouldn't be well-served by a nursing home.
