SEEKING PERFECTION: Bree Wanderscheid, the talented Goldendale golfer says her swing comes naturally to her. But, the two-time State champion doesn't rely on natural ability. Wanderscheid is constantly working to improve her game, which is bad news for 1A girls who hope to come between Wanderscheid and her quest to three-peat as State Champion.

Bree Wanderscheid is an exceptional athlete at Goldendale. She is setting her sights on a rare accomplishment as she tries to three-peat as the State 1A girls' golfing champion. She is not a long shot to do it; she is the favorite.

Lest anyone worry about the pressure such a statement puts on the Goldendale senior, keep in mind one thing, Wanderscheid is a champion and it hasn't happened by accident. Does she feel the pressure of being in the situation that everyone has such high expectations of her? "Hearing comments about three-peat just makes me want to win more," says Wanderscheid.

Wanderscheid is like the ball player who wants to be at bat when the game is on the line, or the basket...
