Quilting group having fun while giving back

The Batty Quilters is a community group started last fall by Goldendale residents Kim Coons, Corinne McEwen and Audrey McEwen. Since then, their group size has grown to 12. Their general mission is threefold: To help others learn to quilt; to give back to the community and to have fun. And that's just what they're doing.

For the last five months, this group of 12 has artfully created a colorful and patriotic project – a dazzling quilt to be raffled to benefit the American Legion.
