City votes to expand to east side of US 97


In a brief but productive Goldendale city council meeting Monday night, the city moved to stretch the city limits to the east side of US 97, sell surplus property, approve funding for a new event at the upcoming Bluegrass Festival, change zoning codes, accept a revised comprehensive plan, and decide what to do with the old nursing home now that the city has received a grant of about a half million dollars to renovate it.
