Goldendale had bats and pitching working on Saturday, for a double-header sweep of Granger to even their record at 2-2 in league play. Both games ended in five innings, 20-0 in the first and 18-4 in the second.

Ben Cochran did it all in the first game, pitching a 1-hitter and driving in three runs. Chris Trunkey created the opportunities with three hits from his leadoff spot and he also drove in three runs.

Two hard doubles in game two helped erase an early lead by Granger as Reggie Sargeant and Dean Enstad combined to hold the Spartans to two hits. Sargeant drove in four runs in the second game and J.J. Keffeler drove in three runs off three hits, including a first inning double.
