KVH Health Survey needs community participation


Diabetes. For most people, the word brings to mind fear, frustration, guilt, and even depression.

The good news is research shows that efforts to reduce risks are resulting in significant decreases of type 2 diabetes-related complications such as heart attacks, strokes, and kidney failure.

Today we have improved screening and medicines, and a big push to educate patients on how to take better care of themselves. During May, Klickitat Valley Health will be conducting a Community Assessment Survey as a part of the Diabetes Education Program.
