Hitting barrage from league's top teams buries Lady Timberwolves

Goldendale didn't fare well through the toughest part of their schedule, last week, losing two games in Goldendale to Naches Valley and a pair at Zillah on Saturday. The girls were out-hit 64-14 in those four games.

The Rangers out-scored the Lady Timberwolves 22-2 in game one and 26-2 in the second game, each ending in five innings. Kirstin Twohy had two of Goldendale's four hits in game one and Sierra Lamping had both of Goldendale's hits in game two.

Goldendale played nearly error-free ball at Zillah, but big hits carried the day for the Leopards. Lexie Wright hit a two-run home run in the five-run second inning and a double and triple later in the game drove in runs. Zillah scored a...
