Sharon Linden



Sharon Lynn Linden, age 59, was born September 13, 1954, in Missoula, Mont., and died April 27, 2014, in Seattle, WA, after a nine month battle with cancer.

She grew up in Goldendale, WA, later attending Evergreen High School, Class of 1972, in Vancouver, WA. She worked in Vancouver at Landerholm Law Firm from 1977 to 1994, living in Vancouver and later Woodland, WA. In 1994, she returned home to Goldendale where she worked at the Klickitat County PUD and the Goldendale Energy Center, respectively. She fulfilled a life-long goal in December 2010 when she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in business from Washington State University. She enjoyed mountain climbing, rock climbing, flying, cross country skiing, camping, painting, ham radio, cake decorating, playing music, and spending time with loved ones. She volunteered in her local community, including the Klickitat County Search and Rescue. She was a proud member of the Columbia Gorge Chapter of The Ninety-Nines (International Organization of Women Pilots).

Sharon is survived by her husband, Terry Linden; children Jason Sherrell, Nathan Sherrell, and Heather Binau; brothers Larry, Ron, and Ken; mother Helen; grandchildren Maya, Sasha, Owen, and William, and many other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Southard, in March 2012.

A memorial will be held for Sharon on May 24, 2014 at the Church of Christ, 506 Dalles Mountain Rd, Centerville, WA, starting at 1 p.m.
