Agencies take down drug sites in five simultaneous raids

BUSTED: An interagency task force made arrests during a Tuesday morning raid on a Goldendale home. This was one of five locations raided following a three-month investigation. Officers with the Goldendale Police Department, Klickitat County Sherrif's Office and Washington State Patrol participated in the operation.

Drug dealing in Goldendale suffered a set-back on Tuesday, as an interagency force made arrests at five locations within Goldendale. The operation was the culmination of a three-month investigation, according to Goldendale Police Chief Rick Johnson, who commended the agencies for "great teamwork." In addition to Goldendale Police, Washington State Patrol and Klickitat County Sheriff departments were involved in the daytime raid.

Twelve Goldendale residents were arrested and officers seized methamphetamine, heroin, scales and packaging materials and one firearm.
