Dr. Phil program features troubled teen getting help at Goldendale's Project Patch

DR. PHIL PRAISES PROJECT PATCH: On an episode that aired last week, Dr. Phil examined a troubled teen named "Danielle" who got treatment at Project Patch.

Syndicated talk show host Dr. Phil regularly offers advice in the form of life strategies from Phil McGraw's experience as a clinical psychologist. An episode aired May 23 with a Goldendale connection.

The show, titled "Troubled Teen: Who will take Danielle?" featured "A fractured family, desperate to get help for 15-year-old 'Danielle,' who parents say has a history of lying, acting out and showing inappropriate behavior." The family had been working with professionals at Goldendale's Project Patch for some time, but family drama had kept them from agreeing upon a plan. Dr. Phil was asked to help the family in crisis.
