Free days at state parks on special June dates

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commision has announced three dates in June that are designated free days. Free days means no Discover Pass will be required to park at state parks. The dates are:

• June 7 - National Trails Day

• June 7, 8 - Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Free Fishing Weekend

• June 14 - National Get Outdoors Day.

Legislation that created the Discover Pass allowed for up to 12 free days per year. This only applies to state parks.
