Life Flight for infant struck in head by tossed cell phone


An infant had to be Life Flighted after sustaining a head injury during a domestic argument, according to Goldendale Police. The seven-week old was struck in the back of the head by a cell phone that was tossed by the child’s father. Police say the man threw the phone to destroy the phone and accidentally struck the child.

The man was arrested for assault of a child and released on his personal recognizance. The child suffered a fractured skull and bleeding under the skull. The condition of the child was unknown at press time.
