Track Chair group finds new honoree

HONORING HIS SERVICE: Aaron Boyle was wounded in Afghanistan and is to be one of two new recipients of a Track Chair.

The Track Chair for a Hero committee now has a hero who doesn't already have a track chair. Several committee members met Thursday with Aaron Boyle, 25, at his home east of Roy, Wash., and heard his story.

Boyle is a native of Tacoma who enlisted in the Army right after graduating from Wilson High School in June 2007. Following basic and advanced infantry training, he married his high school sweetheart, Lynn Brandal, on the first day of January, 2008. The couple had just a few weeks of marriage before he was deployed to the New Baghdad district of Iraq with the 1-66 Bravo Company 1st BCT 4th Infantry Division. He returned to Ft.
