From Trout Lake to Lake Union, Vogt sisters take winning ways to UW

It is hard to know where you fit if you are an outstanding athlete in the B level of high school sports. There aren't a lot of examples of prior graduates making the jump to Division I schools as an athlete. Can the big fish in a small pond survive at that higher level?

Trout Lake's Liz Vogt was one of those athletes. A standout in basketball, volleyball and track, Vogt aspired to attend Montana State University to play volleyball. With graduation approaching, decisions had to be made and Vogt shunned the notion of going to a community college because she wanted to play ball at the NCAA level.
