Film was a great experience


Thanks for your August 20 article, “That's a wrap at the Goldendale Observatory,” on our shoot Starry Night at the Goldendale Observatory. It all went smoothly. We appreciate the people of Goldendale, particularly Holcomb’s Sentry Market and Uncle Tony’s Pizza, where the cast and crew were kept well fed.

On a scouting trip last January, we met Troy Carpenter, who welcomed us and made this location possible. Our new friend was essential in accomplishing our artistic goals. As the director, this was a fantastic experience. And lastly, there would be nothing in the “can” without the enormously talented and dedicated cast and crew.
