Streak ends, Lyle-Wishram finally beats Klickitat

Fans were treated to the first five-game match of the year in Greater Columbia Gorge League play, last week, as Lyle-Wishram pulled off a 3-2 upset win over Klickitat on the Vandals' home floor. The magnitude of the upset might have been lost on some of the crowd, as it marked the first time Lyle-Wishram has defeated Klickitat in a league match for at least 33 years, by most estimates.

Klickitat won the first game 25-18, but a pattern emerged over the next three games with the Vandals winning the big hits at the net, but losing the battle of errors.
