Organic and bio-dynamic farming workshop offered by WSU Extension


Fundamentals of organic and bio-dynamic agriculture are the topics of a free workshop to be presented at the Lyle Activity Center, Nov. 12 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The workshop is sponsored by the Washington State University Extension.

The workshop will include a presentation by Dr. Lynn Carpenter-Boggs, WSU soil biologist and internationally recognized researcher of alternative agriculture. Dr. Carpenter-Boggs brings specific knowledge of production techniques that focus on soil biological health. She will speak about various fermentation preparations that are used in biodynamic farming.
