Wallace Taylor

Wallace (Wally) Edward Taylor age 94, passed away in The Dalles, Oregon on November 2, 2014.  He was born May 18, 1920 to Eunice and Wallace E. Taylor, Sr. in Hoquiam, Washington.

As husband to his late wife, Marjorie Taylor, Wally’s kindness and strength brought pride to his family.

Wally leaves behind his son, Steve Campbell; daughter Cheryl (Kent) Huntington; grandson, Sean (Shellie) Huntington; great grandchildren Haley and Jason; granddaughter Kimber (Ryan) Webb; great grandchildren Andrus and Adele.

Wally worked for the PUD and Puget Power before retiring.  He loved the outdoors - spending most of his free time fishing, hunting and camping with his wife, family and dogs.  Wally was gifted with a “green thumb” and many marveled at his ability to grow anything.  He was an avid reader, rock hound and crafted gorgeous wood bowls for family and friends.

Wally requested a private ceremony with his family.  The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for him over the past couple of years, especially the ladies of Klickitat Health Care and the Veteran’s Home in The Dalles.  A special thank you to Neva and Dick Wheelhouse for their kindness.
