Nativity scenes sought again this year


Central to the Christmas season for Christians everywhere is the story of the birth of Christ. Many families celebrate by setting out a Nativity scene. The public is invited to view more than 350 crèches at the Goldendale Nativity, an annual community event that brings together in a single place nativity scenes owned by dozens of Goldendale residents. This year’s theme is “Christmas Through the Ages.” The display will be Dec. 5, 6 and 7 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the cultural hall of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at the corner of Columbus and McKinley.
