Steindorf bids farewell to MCCC after 24 year tenure

Goldendale's Director at Head Start is retiring. After 24 years of employment for the Mid Columbia Children's Council (MCCC), Cheryl Steindorf is calling it quits and moving to Florida with her husband Randy to take over the job of being grandma.

Steindorf began with MCCC in Klickitat, where she lives, for her first two years before agreeing to manage the children's center in Goldendale. She says that the Head Start and Children's Care Center has enjoyed "overwhelming support" from the community. "Whenever we have requested a donation or volunteer hours, we have never received less than an "absolutely," says Steindorf.
