Twohy's 30 rebound night powers Lady Wolves to first win in blowout over Wahluke

The Lady Timberwolves came close to their first win with an overtime loss at Kittitas on Friday. The next day they got into the win column in a big way behind a monster night for Kirsten Twohy.

Turnovers were costly for Goldendale against White Swan as the Lady Wolves fell in their home opener 73-43. Emily Botkin scored eight points in the second and fourth quarters to lead the Lady Cougars with inside dominance and a game high 23 points. Cayla Jones added to the Timberwolf troubles with outside shooting and strong follow-up to the hoop, finishing with 19 points.
