Bob passed away on December 9, 2014 in The Dalles, Oregon.

He was born July 7, 1934 in The Dalles to F. E. (Buck) and Sylvia Yeley. He was raised on a ranch east of Goldendale on Hoctor Road. Bob went to school and graduated from Goldendale Academy in 1955. In the spring of 1956 he and Neoma Thiele were marred. Bob joined the Army in April 1957 and was honorably discharged in April 1959. He served in the Hell on Wheels Unit as a mechanic. He attained Sharpshooter and Marksman medals while serving. After the service he went to work in the mill in Klickitat until its closure, working in the fuel house and as a millwright.

Bob is survived by his daughters Dawn Lattimore of Goldendale, Coralee Trent of Port Orchard and sons Kevin Yeley of Greenville, Ohio and Brent Yeley of California; five grandsons Mike, Devin, Victor and Tom; five great-grandchildren; sister Doris Brack of The Dalles; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Yeley and sister LaVerne Doubravsky.

Services were held Dec. 20, at Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel followed by burial at Mountain View Cemetery.
