Eagles win first game of year 47-46 over Dufur JV


Glenwood stretched their lead to 10 points in the fourth quarter, then held on against a furious comeback to post their first win of the year, 47-46 over Dufur JV. Dufur tried to tie the game with a three-point shot that missed and they put in the rebound at the buzzer.

The next day, Columbia-White Salmon’s JV came to Glenwood and the Eagles put up a good fight after falling behind 33-18 at the half. Glenwood tied the game at 50, but ran out of gas and lost 58-54. Tanner Montgomery scored 30 points from his high post position, going 11-17 from the foul line. Montgomery also led the team with 12 rebounds.
