Wolves split double dual on senior night

PINNING MACHINE: Goldendale's Jesse Call has been racking up the pins this year. Above, he pinned Granger's Robert Barger in 37 seconds.

Goldendale couldn't overcome six forfeits on senior night in Goldendale, allowing the Granger Spartans to leave with a 55-18 win. Jesse Call and Cameron Read each had first round pins and Ruben Finn was awarded a forfeit win for Goldendale's only points. Leroy Miller and Bryce Wilkins lost their matches by pin. Zane Cully lost a 10-7 match at 195 pounds and Daniel Wedgewood lost 13-2.

Cle Elum-Roslyn also had a short team allowing Goldendale to be the beneficiary of forfeits for a 36-30 win. Wilkins, Demetrius McCoy, Cully, Read and Miller all won by forfeit. Wedgewood was pinned and Call preserved the win by pinning his man with 44 seconds left in the match.
