Wolves without a win to show for moments of great play

Goldendale showed some flash on Saturday at Highland, but were unable to secure their first league win as the Scotties' Austin McWain seemed to knife through the defense at will during key moments for a 51-43 Highland win. The loss leaves Goldendale at 0-8, now two games behind Highland in the SCAC west. It was the third loss of the week for the Wolves who started with a 59-51 non-league loss at Mabton and a 69-40 defeat at the hands of La Salle in Goldendale on Friday night.
