POWER MEETING: Some 40 people gathered at the offices of the old Goldendale aluminum plant Tuesday as a consortium of agencies unveiled a first look at a proposed pumped storage hydroelectric facility near the location. Center is Max Seyhanli, representing the plant owners. Standing at left is Nate Sandvig, Hydroelectric Program Manager for MWH Global, one of the world's largest water resource engineering firms, who outlined the details behind the project. After this gathering, the visitors went on a tour of the proposed reservoir sites for the project, despite rain and limited visibility. Later meetings at the KPUD offices took place after press time.
