Spartans end Wolves' season with long ball shooting display


Goldendale boys finished their season with a 2-18 record, winless in 12 league games after a 75-38 loss to Granger.

Any thoughts of ending the losing streak quickly evaporated when Nicholas Garza came out and shot four three-point shots and made four three-point shots in the first quarter. He took a seat for the second quarter and his replacement, Jay Ramirez picked up where Garza left off. Four more three-point shots and four more three-point baskets. The Spartans were 14 for 21 on three point shots in the first half. The 40 point lead put the clock in motion and Coach Miguel Bazaldua slowed the offensive pace. Goldendale won the second half of the game 18-15.
