Bob Dove

Bob Darrell Dove was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Kate Louisa (Wilson) and John Lester Dove on November 21, 1930. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from May 1953 and received an honorable discharge in March 1955.

Bob married Lorna Mae Taylor in Goldendale, Washington on January 3, 1960. He was a Teamster and drove 18-wheelers as a career. Mr. Dove was baptized in the LDS church. He loved caring for his livestock and his family was his greatest joy.

Bob Dove passed away in Hood River, Oregon on February 9, 2015 at the age of 84.

He is survived by his wife Lorna Dove of Lyle (High Prairie neighborhood); son Jon Dove and his partner Reggie Gulley of Seattle, Washington; son Kim Dove and his wife Becky of Marysville, Washington; brothers Bud Dove and Jack Dove both of Tonasket, Washington; and two grandchildren Bridget Dove and Rochelle White.

He was preceded in death by brother Bill Dove.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the High Prairie Community Center with interment at the Lone Pine Cemetery.
