One small man with big dreams: heat or eat


With the arctic winds and frigid temperatures keeping the gorge on ice, local families are struggling to maintain a warm home. Richard LaValley, a Goldendale resident, has noticed these families have been asking themselves a serious question lately: should we heat or eat?

Since the good old “two-dog night” trick isn’t applicable to everyone in the area, the Goldendale Food Bank and its members are here to feed the hungry and help them save some cash for their heating expenses.
