Workshop to explore local radio theater
A Goldendale Radio Theater Development Workshop is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Goldendale Library with Jim Tindall, radio drama writer, producer and creator of “Meriwether” and “Manser and Dolph: Mid-Columbia Men of Art.”
This two-hour workshop on Community Radio Theater is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Library’s Camplan Room.
Under Jim Tindall’s able direction, attendees will explore the possibilities of forming a local community radio theater troupe. Hands-on experience with elements of a dramatic or comedic radio production will take actors and players behind the microphone and will help define the essential roles of technicians, writers and promoters.
The workshop is open to the public and free of charge. Workshop is sponsored by Friends of the Goldendale Library. For more information, call the Library at 773-4487.
