Pipeline residence target of second car wreck in two years

Lightning may not strike twice, but apparently DUI accidents do. For the second time in two years, 729 Pipeline Road was the scene of a crash involving heavy drinking. Cars struck in the driveway on Feb, 21, 2015.

It doesn't seem like a risky place to live, but residents at 729 Pipeline in Goldendale have to be wondering following the second crash onto their property in two years.

Police officer Mike Smith responded to a report of a crash at a familiar location around 1:45 a.m., early Saturday morning. A car driven by James Allen collided with two vehicles in front of a residence. It turns out to be the same location where a car crashed into the attached garage two years ago (see photos on page 1). When Officer Smith arrived, Allen surrendered and admitted he was the driver and that he had been drinking. He was transported to KVH and blew a .218 and .214 on the field sobriety test.
