Arrest for attempted burglary clears up recent crimes


Decisive action by a clerk at the Quality Inn in Goldendale helped Goldendale police wrap up several crimes in a neat package, last week. Police received the call on March 3 at 10:30 p.m. The clerk had observed a man carrying a box from the maintenance and storage area, a room not open to the general public. When the man saw that he was noticed by the clerk, he put the box down and got into the passenger seat of a Ford Explorer parked in the motel parking lot.
