KLASAC is educating local communities to save lives

 


There is a disease that is proven to be very communicable among small towns. It devours everything in its path and leaves those who still stand, drenched by its wrath. This disease is called addiction and it takes the lives of hundreds of thousands every year. Fortunately, some of those who aren’t overcome by the disease are fighting to prevent it from spreading.

“Our coalition started in the fall of 2013,” says Rita Pinchot, coordinator of KLASAC, the Klickitat and Lyle against Substance Abuse Coalition.
