Most SCAC west teams have only two track meets under their belt so far this year, (Goldendale has one) so it is too soon to jump to many conclusions. One thing is clear, however, Goldendale’s girls are going to be contenders.

The girls pop up in the top six performances in nine different events; they are top two in the 100 meters and have three of the top five in both hurdle events.

The most exciting thing about it is the fact that all but one of the girls is a freshman or sophomore.
