50 Years Ago - April 1, 1965

Goldendale’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is going to come off on schedule as usual, according to Orien Kastl and Harry Doyea general chairmen for the Sunday morning event. Kastl also announced that the event is free to all, no matter who or where they may live. The youngsters all ages engage in the hunt for the colored eggs. The event is held on the Legion property, just east of the hospital, at the north end of Brasher Way.
