Bad week to be a Cougar as Lady Timberwolves log four game sweep

PERFECT DELIVERY: Goldendale's Sierra Lamping mowed down 15 straight batters for a perfect, five-inning 18-0 win over Lyle-Wishram, Friday at Dallesport.

Sierra Lamping was perfect on Friday in Dallesport. The Goldendale softball pitcher ripped through the Lyle-Wishram batting order during a five-inning game for an 18-0 win. Lamping faced the minimum of 15 batters with no hits, no walks, no errors and nine strike-outs; the last one went down looking. It was the third straight win of the week for the Lady Timberwolves who finished the week with sweeps over the White Swan Cougars and the Lyle-Wishram Cougars.

Goldendale had plenty of offensive support for Lamping, scoring four runs in the first inning, sending eight batters to the plate for six hits, including a double by Shania Henderson. Kirstin Twohy doubled in the second inning, driving...
