Trico meet to the liking of Cougar sprinters

 


In a busy week for Lyle-Wishram track and field athletes, a number of personal records (PR) fell as performances begin to heat up with the weather. The Cougars competed in the Trico league meet in White Salmon on Thursday, then traveled to Eisenhower High School, in Yakima for the Don Holder relays.

It was a great day for sprinters at White Salmon as all four Lyle-Wishram entries in the boys 100 meters had PR runs. Mo Sommer was fourth in a time of 12.37 seconds. Lorenzo Guasconi ran a 12.44 for fifth place, Randy Hubbard ran 12.80 for seventh and Max Zeigler was eighth in a PR of 12.97. Zeigler also had a PR in the 200 meters, finishing fifth.
