Infant injured in domestic dispute


It was a relatively quiet week for the Goldendale police, and the Klickitat County deputies, but in earlier action, the Sheriff’s department answered the call on an injured infant.

On March 24, Deputy Frank Randall responded to the call of an infant that had been taken to the hospital with a head injury. The initial story was that the mother of a two-month old child in Lyle had discovered a lump on the infant’s head. She asked the father, Zachary R. Calder, 19, about the injury and he said he didn’t know anything about it.
