50 Years Ago - April 15, 1965

The Goldendale Jaycees have started tearing down the former Howard’s Market building just west of the National Bank of Commerce. The property has been purchased by the bank and the lot will be converted into a parking lot for the convince of their customers. According to the contract, the building must be torn down within 90 days. All useable material will be sold by the Jaycees.
