No momentum for Wolves after Kittitas win


Goldendale started last week on a positive note with a 13-3 win over Kittitas in a non-league baseball game played in Goldendale. Chris Trunkey and J. C. Cline each drove in four runs and Cline went four inning s for the victory, holding Kittitas to five hits. Both players homered for Goldendale in the opener. But, there was an ominous sign of problems to come, however, as the Timberwolves committed three errors in the game.

The teams combined for 13 errors in the nightcap, eight by Goldendale, as they lost 19-8. The game was close with each team having big innings, up until the fifth inning when Coyotes put eight runs on the board.
