Bickleton's famed museum is a visit through a century of history

MUSEUM FOR BOTH WHOOP AND HOLLER: Among the many joys of Bickleton, the Whitmore family's Whoop 'n' Holler Museum is one that keeps visitors coming to town. Ada Ruth Whitmore is at the head of the class in an old-school schoolroom.

The next time you find yourself traveling along Highway 14 on the way to Grandma's house, feel free to turn north off the highway and keep driving until you reach the "Bluebird Capital of the world." Once you find it, you've made your way into another time. If you've ever wondered what it would have been like to grow up in the early 20th century, Bickleton-more specifically, the Whitmore family's Whoop-N-Holler Museum-will show you.
