Podium finishes, but no Gold for Goldendale hurdlers


Brian Golding wasn’t very happy with his performance at the District 5 track meet for the 110 meter hurdles. He had a decent finish, second behind Royal’s Joe Lang, but his time of 16.37 seconds was way off his best time for the event. “I’ll end up with an outside lane,” lamented Golding. “I will have to do better in the preliminary to get a better lane assignment [at State].”

Golding certainly did improve his lane assignment by running a hot 15.4 seconds from lane 7, his best time of the year and easily the best preliminary time of the meet.
