Klickitat County Commissioner Rex Johnston signs a Wildlife Management Plan to protect the Oregon Spotted Frog and landowners who might otherwise have been crippled by regulations on the frog's preservation. The signing was held last Tuesday. A combination of federal and county officials and area landowners hailed the unique agreement as an occasion of uncommon cooperation. Staff from Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler were present, as were the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department.
