The Maryhill Festival of Speed

The Maryhill Festival of Speed takes off this week on the world-renowned Maryhill Loops, south of Goldendale. The Festival, billed as North America's largest gravity sports festival, will feature 230 athletes from around the world in IDF world cup competition. Action runs from Thursday through Sunday. The public is invited at no charge to watch the race on course. Wednesday is check-in, Thursday and Friday are practice, with racing starting on Saturday. Final races are on Sunday starting at 9 a.m. with junior I and classic luge. Junior II and street luge start at 11 a.m. and open class and women races begin at 2:30 p.m. An autograph session will be held on Friday at Ekone Park at 7 p.m. f...
