Kiteboarding event for cancer survivors at Hood River July 10-12

THE BIG RACE: More than 200 participants are expected to fill the Columbia River in the Kiteboard 4 Cancer Derby on July 11. The event benefits cancer survivors.

On July 10-12, the Hood River waterfront will become the stage for the 9th annual Kiteboarding 4 Cancer festival presented by Patagonia. This action-packed, feel-good event has something for everyone, including live music, a pop-up art studio, local food carts, a beer garden hosted by Full Sail Brewing Company, and of course, lots of eye-catching kiteboarders showing off their best moves. While the event is in Hood River, The event benefits cancer survivors from throughout the Columbia Gorge region.
