Programs for Peaceful Living is making some changes-but don't worry


One in four women and one in seven men will be victims of severe violence by an intimate partner in their lifetimes, resulting in 20 people falling victim to this crime every minute. These victims need a place to call for support when they have no one else to help them. They usually call an area crisis hotline. The agency that handles this in Klickitat County—Programs for Peaceful Living—has made a few changes, and if you are a victim of a crime, you need to be aware of them.
