Hunter education jamboree Aug. 29


Prospective hunters who have completed Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) online hunter education coursework can fulfill their field skills requirements at a “Hunter Education Jamboree” Aug. 29 at the Boy Scout Camp Pigott in Snohomish County.

Online registration for the event is required. The registration deadline is Aug. 21. Go to:

The jamboree will take place at the Boy Scouts of America Camp Pigott, 24225 Woods Creek Rd. in Snohomish. Participants can choose from one of two sessions on Aug. 29: 8 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1- 5 p.m.

Hunters born after Jan. 1, 1972 must complete hunter ed to purchase their first license.
