Shrewd Shrew visits Maryhill

IT'S NOT THE HOKEY POKEY: It was this year's annual Shakespeare in the Park performance at Maryhill Museum on Saturday, as the Portland Actors' Ensemble staged The Taming of the Shrew.

Heat, often associated with passion, was definitely present during the Portland Actors Ensemble's (PAE) 46th annual Shakespeare in the Park on the grounds of Maryhill Museum on Saturday, July 18.

As PAE is no stranger to families with children, Shakespeare was no stranger to variety in comedy. The play, The Taming of the Shrew, ranged from child-pleasing slap stick brawls to the slyly interjected innuendo, all appropriately executed by the actors of PAE.
